New acts announced for 2015 Reading and Leeds festival

More than sixty new acts have been declared for the 2015 Reading and Leeds Festival. Charli XCX, Alt-J, Palma Violets and Twin Atlantic are among bands performing over the bank holiday weekend fest from 28th August to 30th August.

Playing the main stage on Friday (at Reading) and Saturday (at Leeds) are Alt-J, Drenge and Palma Violets while Modestep, Babymetal and FIDLAR will hit the stage on Saturday (at Reading) and Sunday (at Leeds).

The Gaslight Anthem would take the main stage on Sunday (at the Reading) and Friday (at the Leeds), and Against Me! As well as Feed The Rhino. Reading & Leeds Fest reveals their 2015 line-up

Reading and Leeds – the twin-sited music fest comes back to over August Bank Holiday, from 28th August, Friday to 30th August, Sunday. The organizers declared the name of the Libertines earlier this week as the final headliners, who will join joining Mumford & Sons and Metallica on the bill for this year.

The indie-rockers would bring the great ship Albion to the fests this summer, coating a Reading & Leeds legacy that dates back to the year 2002. Rising up through the billing of the festivals, troubadours Peter Doherty, Gary Powell, John Hassall and Carl Barât made their Main Stage debut in the year 2003 and came back in the year 2004.

The group blew the crowds away in the year 2010 when they reunited famously at the fests and now, for the very first time, they will take their place as the headliners of the Reading & Leeds. Robert Trujillo’s story of joining Metallica

The popular American heavy metal band being formed in Los Angeles in California in 1981 presently have vocalist James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich, Robert Trujillo who is the bassist and Kirk Hammett as the guitarist.

When bassist Jason Newsted had left the band auditions started being held to find his permanent replacement. After conducting three months of auditions Robert Trujillo who had been a member of Suicidal Tendencies, the trash metal band as well as Black Label Society, the heavy metal band was finally chosen as their bassist.

During his appearance on Talk is Jericho, the subject of his association with Metallica came up. He nostalgically relates that his association with the band was rather a strange and amusing thing. He relates that a mutual friend of Metallica’s guitarist Kirk Hammett and he had asked him to take the both of them surfing. Line-up for Leeds Festival 2015 has been announced

The organizers of Leeds Festival 2015 have revealed that the event’s main stage will be headlined by the heavy-metal band Metallica that includes members like Rob Trujillo, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and James Hetfield.

The passes for Leeds 2015 are currently put on sale. This includes an installment plan of 50 pounds. The line-up for the bash also includes other big names like Manchester Orchestra, Run the Jewels, Refused, Wilkinson, Pierce the Veil, and Jamie T. Metallica has already headlined the event thrice and they first headlined it 18 years ago. The person in charge of the festival, Melvin Benn, stated that he’s really excited to declare Metallica as a headliner for Leeds 2015.

The outstanding live performances of Metallica are the favorite with genuine music enthusiasts at this important music festival. The Leeds festival highlights a compilation of outstanding acts from different genres. Melvin also declared the remaining festival line-up that features the finest talents of hip-hop, dance, indie, and rock. This culmination of special talents makes the Leeds festival so special. Jamie T is a hot act of this moment and he is an awesome addition to this line-up. Rap veterans El-P and Killer Mike will make their Leeds festival debut in 2015.

Manchester Orchestra will come for the third time to Leeds festival in 2015, after the launch of their 4th album Cope. The passes for the festival are currently on sale. The weekend passes are priced 205 pounds and an additional fee of 8 pounds is charged for postage and booking. Reading car-parking fee is 10 pounds, lockers fee is 16 pounds, campervan permits 75 pounds, and early-entry permits 20 pounds.
