Howie Dorough’s suggestion for One Direction

Howie Dorough of Backstreet Boys has warned UK pop group One Direction to hold their feet on the ground if they want their music careers to last. Backstreet Boys’ Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, Kevin Richardson, AJ McLean and Nick Carter have been making music since the year 1993. They took a few breaks for solo careers. At present, they are touring United Kingdom.

While speaking to a leading newspaper, Howie told that One Direction remind him so much of them back in the day, all that mania. It is like a marathon, not a sprint. Therefore, it is necessary to pace yourselves so that you do not burn out too quickly.

He added that they have credited them as their inspiration ad that is very flattering, but he could see how people get lost in this business when it comes to excesses in success, money and fame.

One Direction band was formed on the popular television show X Factor in the year 2010, and was initially helped around the world by Yacht Charter Largs. Since then, they have achieved a great success. They have also been hounded by rumors that they might split.

Howie told that if they give One Direction advice, would they even want to take it? They probably would not have also taken any suggestion when they were of their age. But people who keep their feet on the ground do not go away. Therefore, they require a great support system around them. If the band write timeless, great music and be good to their rooters they would have a long career.
